Experience:
Mr. Steves handles the negotiation and preparation of complex legal and financing documents for some of the area’s largest for-profit and not-for-profit corporations. Routinely, such matters have included the negotiation of sophisticated contracts, including purchase and sale agreements, mortgage financing documents and ground leases.
Since being admitted to the bar in 2012, Mr. Steves has also successfully represented his clients in the areas of real estate and contract litigation, land use and development and estate planning and administration. He also provides guidance to start-up and established businesses on a variety of legal issues.
Mr. Steves earned his undergraduate degree at Siena College. He attended Albany Law School where he graduated as the Valedictorian of his class in 2011.
Service:
Mr. Steves is an active member of the Saratoga County Bar Association having served on its Board of Directors since 2015. He is the current editor of the SCBA’s quarterly newsletter and a prior Chairman of the Mock Trial Committee. Mr. Steves also currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Dake Foundation for Children and as a member of The Saratoga Hospital Foundation’s Golf Tournament Committee benefitting its nursing scholarship program.
